Fourteen years of training in classical ballet, jazz dance, and belly dancing—starting at the age of ten—shaped me into a performer and teacher, while also giving me the creative freedom to choreograph my own pieces. Within this framework, I was able to express and regulate my emotions and navigate life's challenges. Spirituality also played a role, through practices like meditation and yoga. When I finally began my higher education, I chose—with absolute conviction—to train as a dance and movement therapist.
Although I eventually moved away from that specific profession, my connection to dance and my ability to express myself through it remained very much alive. After a winding career path, I returned to the field of therapy, this time as a relationship therapist. A severe relationship crisis drove me to delve deep in an effort to understand and save my marriage. Once I succeeded, I wanted nothing more than to help other couples do the same. I have been doing this in my own practice for over seven years now, with great joy and dedication.
Through Tantric Dance, I am discovering the many beautiful aspects of Tantra. It is both delightful and challenging to gain new, enriching, and educational experiences that strengthen my humanity, as well as my work as a therapist and teacher.
Tantric Dance brings everything together: emotional expression, life energy, polarity, and deep connection. For me, it feels like coming home. Through teaching Tantric Dance, I want to help others experience that same sense of coming home—both within themselves and with their partners.
